Highlighting D&I’s place as a top business priority – the awards are supported by established leaders in D&I, who have returned for a second year including AIB, Aon, Cpl, Laya healthcare, Matheson, Musgrave, National Lottery and PublicJobs.ie. They are joined by IDA Ireland and many of these organisations hold prestigious Investors in Diversity – Ireland’s premier D&I accreditation. The awards will recognise all areas of D&I excellence including Disability, Race & Ethnicity, Gender, LGBTQ+ and more plus ‘Advancing Social Inclusion in the workplace’ has been added as an all-new category. Award submissions are invited from individuals, groups, businesses and organisations of all sizes and sectors and there are categories for leaders, employees, workplace initiatives and public sector bodies that are making a real difference in D&I for those around them.

Caroline Tyler, Managing Director – Irish Centre for Diversity said: “We are excited to bring back the National Diversity & Inclusion Awards after the successful debut attracted over 150 high-calibre entries and set a very high bar. Our annual celebration of the most influential, innovative and inspiring people working in Diversity & Inclusion in Ireland has evolved and grown bigger – and we have now included a new category – Advancing Social Inclusion – to recognise and acknowledge this. Everyone benefits when best practice is shared, so we are looking forward to the return of the NDIA webinar series with D&I insights from the finalists and winners. We’d like to thank the sponsors, who make the awards possible and who have already shared highlights from their D&I journey that everyone can learn from with a series of videos that are available on our website now.”
Commenting on her role as Chair of the Judging Panel, Margot Slattery said: “Enormous strides are being made with D&I in Ireland and the vital area is rightly being cemented as a priority by many companies across all sectors. As a life-long advocate for Inclusion, I’m excited to see the initiatives that are being brought to fruition. I look forward to recognising their achievements and I’m grateful that these awards will give them a platform to inspire others to follow their lead.”
