D&I Trainer/ Advisor
Bo specialises in Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI). She works as an EDI consultant to arts organisations and charities alongside her role as Head of EDI for a NHS Trust. She has experience of carrying out EDI audits and developing strategies and action plans in order to embed and mainstream EDI. She trains, raises awareness and promotes sustainable EDI change within organisations.
In 2018 she became an accredited NHS England/Improvement ‘WRES (Workplace Race Equality Standard) Expert’ and has a deep understanding of the range and complexity relating to race, LGBT+, disability, gender and socio-economic status in organisations and society at large.
Complimenting Bo’s EDI specialism, she has several years’ experience of working as a senior Human Resources professional and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. Her career spans the private, charity and public sector, including Amnesty International. She has advised on change management, HR policy and procedure development processes as well as diverse recruitment campaigns.
Bo holds a diploma in coaching from Cambridge University and is a fully accredited executive and life coach as well as a mentor. She is also a Royal Society of Art fellow. She holds an Honorary Fellowship of the College of Paramedics.
She is a Trustee at two art organisations and is a public governor at Sheffield Children’s Hospital.
