Shelley has a 30-year track record of excellence in the provision of training and consultancy services in equality, diversity, inclusion, and leadership and management development. She has personally trained in excess of 70,000 personnel across the public services including the NHS, Senior MOD Civil Servants and Senior Military Personnel of the British Armed Forces, in the UK, Germany & Cyprus. Her work includes over 20 years of training police services in community, race relations, and cross- cultural competence. As CEO of Just Resources International Ltd, she created ILM accredited courses – including the Certificate in Diversity Training, Diplomas in Diversity Management and Bullying & Harassment Investigators Course.
In Commemoration of the 50th year of Barbadian Independence, Shelley received the Barbados Golden Jubilee Award in recognition of her outstanding service both as a member of the Barbados Community and her significant and invaluable contribution to the United Kingdom.
She was also finalist in the National Diversity Awards for the Lifetime Diversity Award – for her contribution to diversity in the UK.
Her work has included the design, development and delivery of the accredited “Conversation for Change” training programme for the Tutu Foundation UK & In South Africa, to over 300 community volunteers and health service professional, to bring about reconciliation and reduce conflict. She is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, and a Trustee of the charity – New-Day United UK.
As a Core Leader at London Network Church she is also responsible for leading life groups & women’s mentoring, & seminars.
She is currently the CEO of The Shelley Collins Organisation – an organisation created to skill, equip and empower people to be all that they were created to be and fulfil their destiny and purpose – though personalised coaching, mentoring and strategic planning.
She has 2 children and 3 grandchildren.
