Marcus is a welcome member of the Business Development team and contributes to their work of supporting organisations to foster a workplace culture rich in FREDIE™ (Fairness, Respect, Equality, Diversity, Inclusion & Engagement).
Marcus is a disabled man from Co. Donegal and he lives independently in Dublin with the support of a Personal Assistant.
Marcus graduated from the Open University with a BA in Modern Languages (Spanish and French) and has spent time teaching those languages to secondary school students. He gained several years of experience in working with businesses to help them become more aware of the needs of disabled people in the workplace. His work included supporting organisations across several areas including developing relevant policies, offering reasonable accommodations, and creating accessible workplaces.
Marcus has served as Chair of the International Federation for Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus Youth Group and spearheaded work that researched and built awareness of the area of Disability and Sexuality.
