Her drive for mentoring and empowering women led to the founding of Sheroes Global and the Black Irish Sisters Network, which organises the annual Audacity Conference – created to celebrate Black women’s leadership and to empower women to break down barriers and take up space in public & political spheres.  As Vice Chair of the Board for the Black and Irish organisation, Yemi is a vocal advocate for Equality Inclusion & Social justice – actively speaking out against racial disparities and migrant hostility.

Yemi is the first migrant to be featured in Irish primary school textbooks for Geography and Science.
