Fiona has worked on recruitment, development activity and talent management programmes and on the FREDIE™ (Fairness, Respect, Equality, Diversity, Inclusion & Engagement) agenda for over 20 years in the public, private and third sectors. Recent clients include: Road Haulage Association; Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust; Yorkshire Building Society; Liverpool Football Club; St Gemma’s Hospice; the Co-Op, and Kirklees Council.

Fiona’s first experience of diversity was a programme for women returners in the early 1990s, a European funded project. Since then Fiona has successfully developed and implemented a wide range of award-winning FREDIE programmes in a wide variety of settings and contexts. Fiona is an experienced Organisational Development professional and has held a number of roles where she has been responsible for all aspects of employee development and engagement. Combining OD with FREDIE has meant that Fiona has successfully ensured that these vital areas are embedded into every aspect of the employee life cycle from pre-recruitment, through performance appraisal and development, to supporting employees exiting an organisation. Fiona has delivered a wide range of leadership and management development programmes and facilitated cross organisational mentoring programmes in Leeds.

Fiona has been an advisor on a number of Diversity & Inclusion forums, a social inclusion and diversity champion for Business in the Community, and an adjudicator for diversity awards. She regularly contributes to conference events most recently the RHA conferences in Northern Ireland and Scotland, and the Inspire conference for the engineering and construction sectors

Fiona is currently a member of the Regional Development Board for Breast Cancer Haven in Yorkshire.

Fiona is an accredited coach and member of the British Psychological Association as well as a member of the CIPD. She is also a Restorative Practice facilitator and accredited to deliver Outcomes Based Accountability training.
